Red fish are in the flats eating basically anything you put in front of them, Perch, mullet, sea Lice and shrimp will definitely work. The fish are running a little larger than previously weeks. I am catching reds up to 28 inches. Trout are in there usual places and are eating shrimp. Soft plastics and top waters early will also produce nice boxes of fish. Croaker are here, but they are extremely small. The next fishing report (in two weeks) should see a better size and more stable bait. Trout will be good in numbers and size for the next month or so. Have you planned your trip? The weather has been cooperating as well with only a few windy days. That could change, but let us hope that it does not.
